The state government will host a series of events in and outside the state, starting this year, to promote tourism and culture.
The government has also planned to organize Odisha festivals in cities like Bangalore, Mumbai and Hyderabad from this year. A steering committee has been constituted to draw up a plan and budget for the festival.
Good Odia films, Odissi dance, music, tourist treasures, handicrafts and textiles will be showcased at the festivals.
