Bhubaneswar: The State Government
aims to double the tourist footfall to the state by strengthening the tourism
infrastructure.
The
number of tourist who annually comes to the state is one crore at present. The decision
to target footfall was taken at the first tourism promotion council was headed
by chief minister Naveen patnaik.
“The Tourism arrival to the Odisha has increased by 12 percentages
from 2013 to 2014. It was 98.66 Lakh in 2013 and 1.08 crore in 2014” said an official
