Sixty Three Forest Guards Posted in Similipal Tiger Reserve
After much dithering, the state government on Friday posted 63 forest guards in Similipal Tiger Reserve (STR).
Odisha Lags Behind Chhattisgarh in Tourism
Despite the fact that Odisha is a heaven for travelers, neighboring Chhattisgarh draws more guests.
According to a report on visitor footfall in India in 2013 discharged by the statistical surveying division of the Ministry of Tourism as of late, the 'Beautiful, Serene and Sublime' Odisha does not figure in the Top-10 arrangement of either household vacationer footfall or global traveler footfall. This notwithstanding Odisha Government's case of undertaking forceful advertising through street shows, displays and tourism shops, both inside and outside India.
